A SPA THEMED SLEEPOVER FOR A 7TH BIRTHDAY (ANDOVER, KS)

 There’s something about turning seven that feels just a little more grown up—so when my daughter asked for a spa party this year, I knew I wanted to make it feel extra special.


Instead of hosting it somewhere else, we brought the entire experience home and turned the evening into a something special and memorable, a styled spa-themed sleepover she and her friends would never forget.

The Little Details That Made It Special

I started with the pieces I knew would make the girls feel instantly excited the moment they walked in.


I ordered soft satin robes and simple kits for facials complete with personal sized lighted mirrors, then used my Silhouette Cameo to personalize each robe and sleep mask with their names and sweet details. Seeing everything hung up and ready for them felt like one of those “this is going to be so cute” moments—and it didn’t disappoint.


When the girls arrived and saw their own robes waiting, it immediately set the tone. They changed right away, and suddenly the whole night felt like a real spa experience.

A Simple, Fun Spa Night at Home

We kept the spa portion easy and age-appropriate, which honestly made it more enjoyable for everyone.


There were face masks, cucumber slices for their eyes, and plenty of giggles in between. Nothing overly complicated—just enough to make them feel pampered while still being kids.


It ended up being one of those moments where you step back and think, this is exactly what I hoped it would be.

Turning the Night Into a Sleepover Experience

After the spa time, the night transitioned into what ended up being everyone’s favorite part—the sleepover setup.


Each girl had her own beautifully styled tent space, ready for them. The soft bedding, the lighting, and the little details made it feel like more than just a place to sleep—it felt like an experience.


One thing that really sets our setups apart is that we use actual memory foam mattresses—not air mattresses—so the girls are not only excited to sleep in their tents, but genuinely comfortable all night. It makes such a difference, especially for older kids and sleepovers where quality sleep matters. They are standard for teen/tween, and adult setups --with the option to upgrade children's parties as well.


That’s what I love most about sleepover setups. It turns a birthday party into something that lasts longer than just a few hours.
